Default Hemi Sport

Hello fellow Dodge fans. I came across your site today and have been reading reviews for the last 4 hours. Awsome site. Some really helpfull reviews. The reason I found this site is because I am going to be purchasing a brand new 2004 flame Red 1500 Hemi Sport. I have looked through about 30 pages of reviews, and only a hand-full of people had pictures of their Hemi Sport limited edition modles. I was suprised by this as in my opinion it is the baddest looking truck on the street. So if anyone has any other pictures I would love to see them.

I do have one question as I will be going to the dealership on Monday to start the price war. I know dodge has a 2500 rebate thing going on now so how much should I pay for the truck? I dont really care about the infinity sound or any other interior options. Just the stock power stuff etc. If I am correct it already comes stock with 20' rims. Though there was one site I came across that said they are optional. I have seen Prices as low as 28,000 and as high as 38,000, so should I not go any higher than 30,000?

I am so damn excited abou this truck. Damn the man keeping me at work on a Saturday
[:@] I will finally be getting rid of my FORD and stepping up to a real Truck.

Thanks for all the great info guys and keep trucknig.

I just want to say thank you for the wonderful things you've said... and CONGRATS on getting rid of the Ford for a Ram... EXCELLENT choice...

I thought the rims were optional, I think the 20 inch chromes are outstanding!

I hope to see you visiting DF lots... you are always welcome. Can't wait to see your new truck!!

I wouldn't pay moe than 26500 for it. I'm fairly sure if they want to sell it.. they will deal. Also, tell them your bottom dollar now, with a phone #..then just wait for the phone calls. Also be ready to make the deal happen around the end of the month. They start scampering around then. Eric

The best way to start out when buying any vehicle is to go to the KBB or Edmunds website and enter in the vehicle you want and obtain the invoice price.
The Invoice will allways be 4-5 thousand less.
Thats where you start your biding at minus the rebate.
Always take the rebates off the invoice price if they will not do that go elswhere.
For example in the last 12 months I have bought 3 Dodge Ram trucks at 9 grand under msrp as the final selling price.
For instance the last one started @
35,200 MSRP
31,000-Less Invoice Price
4,500- factory rebate
1,000- dodge finance rebate
==================
25,500$ Total price
=================
25,500
7,500- Trade in
=================
18,000
2,000 Tax Tag &Title Estimated
================
20,000 Financed

So i ended up financing 20,000.
I have bought 3 trucks total in the last year from 2 dodge dealers and recieved the same $off I just mentioned.
Only dif is the factory rebate can be higher or lower from month to month.
Here in Atlanta they are currently offering 4500 cash back and the further we get into summer the higher it will rise till the end of the year more than likely.

Last year at the year end sale they offered 6000 cash back so you got to keep an eye out.

But the most important thing is never let them take the rebate off the msrp (that is a rippofff) on you.
They will allways sell it at invoice or less before they apply the rebate.
You just have to make them do it and listen to them wine lol.

Also KBB will list the rebates availible in your area that you can get ,dont count on the dealer to even let you know about them in all cases.
It pays to do you Homework before you even step foot into the dealer though.
