front end problems/brake problem HELP!!!
hey guys i have a 99 4wd ram. recently been having problems over bumps and whenever the suspension compresses and releases. recently replaced all shocks, steering damper and track bar. also the sway bar bushings and the bushings on the end link (the top two above and below the sway bar). the track bar was installed by a mechanic i trust. i did the bushings myself. still getting a "knock" like something is loose somewhere on the drivers side front end. any ideas??
also been having to add brake fluid somewhat regularly. doesn't seem like anything blew. all wheels seem dry. any ideas here?

RE: front end problems/brake problem HELP!!!
I'd make sure you have the correct eyelet size for the bottom of the front shock. Then I'd make sure the grommets at the top of the shock are properly torqued. It may look tight, but in the start of a turn, or a moderate bump, the shock will slap front to back withing the shock tower.
Just a possibility.
Good luck.
