1998 DODGE OVERHEATING Help Please
I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 with the 360 in it.
It started to overheat so I replaced the thurmostat. After replacement I drove it around the block and as the temp started to climb to 210 I turned on the heater. Ice cold air came out even though the heater was on, and the temp was at 210 deg.
Does anyone know what this might be or what I might check.
Thanks

sounds like the water pump is dead. or your lower hose is blocked. if you take the hose off and its full of sludge, swap it out and flush your motor. make sure you use distilled water on the re-fill...
