Well, I was pretty excited to get my new '04 Hemi last month. Now I'm just depressed. Some idiot tagged my wife at a red light from behind. Nobody hurt but my Hemi. It'll need a new bumper and tailgate. Aaarrrgghh!

Man that sure is bad luck. We all have it from time to time. When I bought my '98 new it was less than 7 months and 10k before I got hit. I was sooooo mad, bondo on a new truck, sure don't sound right to me. That is why I got rid of it 4 months later, I couldn't bring myself to keep paying on a bondo buggie (so to speak). I have a '01 now and love it. It was taken for a joy ride not too long ago and I am still fixing little odds and ends. Good luck on the repairs and I hope your wife isn't too sore from the accident. It sure was good news to hear that no one was seriously hurt. That is foremost important.

at least yours is getting fixed.

my dad took out my '99 1500 and rear ended another truck, leaving a nice outline of the rear hitch in my front bumper. my dad dosent want to pay for a new bumper so im stuck with a ghetto looking truck unless i fork out the $250+ for a new bumper. if you couldnt tell, im a little bitter.

Grubb202 - A joyride...? Did it get stolen...? You aid it was taken for a joy ride... didn't sound like you were driving... just curious.

5.9rm - Can I yell at your dad? If it's his fault, he should pay!!! What's his excuse? He did it! he should fix it!! You have no insurance on it?

My parents never got to touch my cars, but they know better. Hehehe!!

Amanda,

We spoke sometime back about this. Yes, it was stolen with only minor things missing. That's why I think it was kids just goofing off. Remember, I just had liability due to truck being paid for and insurance being so high, I thought I didn't need it. Well, ASSUME breaks down into *** Out of U and ME if you catch my drift. It now has full coverage again and I am not as worried as before. I do agree with you on the dad fixing what he messed up. It is only fair. Well, I gotta go for now, be careful and I will talk to you soon.

Yup, I remember, but I talk to lots of people about cars every day... Sometimes I lose track... I apologize! LOL!! I remember the whole story now though.I'm so glad it's all coming back together... and if you want to put together a lynch mob to get the guys who did it, I'll be first in line to help!!

ohh man, i dont want to hear this. hit before 1000 sucks, hit at all sucks, but your still going through the 'i got a shiny new truck' phase, well, as of right now i have 522 miles on mine, hopefully i can make the 1000k mark safely.

and 5.9rm, you should shove a rear hitch up your dads anus, and tell himn you aint paying for the medical bills
