Default About to buy a new RAM

I posted a few weeks ago about the deal I thought was good. I've decided to go for it. I'm gett the SLT short bed/Hemi with the 20"'s.

I have a few questions for some of the experts on here. I'd appreciate any feedback possible.

How are the Hemi engines holding up in terms of reliability? I'm comming from a Toyota. I also don't think you can get leather in the short bed SLT can you?

Also, are their any oil consumption issues with this engine or special break in procedures? My Toyo uses 1qt of oil every 3k miles. I average about 80 highway miles per day. I hate checking the oil. I'll be converting all fluids to Amsoil in time. Thanks guys.

I don't think the Hemi engine is any more or less reliable. I've got 15K on my '04 and everything has been great.

Leather is an option on the SLT. However, I have not seen any with it. I believe it is patterned different than the standard leather on the Laramie. Most that want leather go with aftermarket leather anyway. It's actually better quality and cost is at or below factory.

Oil consumption does not seem to be an issue. Don't tell me you fell for the Amsoil hype? Just kidding.

As far as breakin goes, I think you are not supposed to tow anything for like 500 miles, avoid hard breaking, and some say to drive it like you stole it. I personally drove it during the breakin period, like I normally drive. My fuel economy is running 14-14.5 in-town and 16.5-18 on the highway.
