the truck has a 5.9 liter 360 in it 2x4 is the transmission a 4 speed + overdrive or a 3 speed plus overdrive

ok thanx cause this guy was trying to tell me that the tranny was a 3speed plus overdrive but whats he kno he drives a toyota

 

did he also throw in a blast of "the tranny wont last past 75k?"

ive heard that soooo many times since i bought my truck its gettin freakin old

 

nah he didnt say that since the truck has 116000 miles on it but the tranny does seem to like spin a bit if you punch the gas really good doin bout 65 tryin to pass someone

 

I got that a few times, sometimes its from people with very beat up vehicles, so the response either is "I dont care, that's where warranty kicks in" or "Yeah, I guess so, but it looks like your ENGINE wont last another 2,000 miles"
