Question on rubbor around doors.
Hello,
I have a 2004 ram 1500 3.7. I was told when i first started driving that if i want to keep the doors from freezing shut , i should spray the rubbor in the winter with silicon spray. Is this true? Currently living near philadelphia.
Thank you
Joe

RE: Question on rubbor around doors.
Yep!
Well works for me here in midwest Iowa anyways.
I usually clean the frame of the truck where the rubber comes in contact and then clean the rubber as well. Then I spray the rubber and then a little on the frame and wipe it all around the frame with a cloth.
It also seems to help it seal better on windy days and theres less wind / noise intrusion into the cab on the interstate.
