Default New Member Need help

Hey im new. I drive a 1996 dodge ram ext. cab. ive noticed a ticking sound coming from around the intake area. Is it my injectors? thats what i thought at first, but i think it could be my lifters maybe. or something else? if it is my injectors how do i shut it up? thanks guy

the ticking is most likely your lifters... you can try adding 12~16 oz of marvel mystery oil to the crank case and see if that quiets it down. I had lifter tick on my 2000 and put in 12 oz of MMO and cleared it right up.
