I have a 97 ram extended cab 4x4 with the 360. Just bought it and must say pretty pleased. Curiouse though what others experience as average gas mileage. I am not expecting much as this truck replaces the 87 suburban iIpreviously owned. Just would like to know what to expect.

 

Well I have a 318 & get about 13-15 M.P.G.

 

I get 13.5 doing almost all city driving and some towing in my 04 HEMI.

 

I get about 11-12 mpg city driving and 15 mpg on the highway. (1500 318 ci 5 speed)

I get around 13 mpg, mostly city driving

 

average 12 city/hiway, 14 hiway only(In Calif). On a recent trip to Yellowstone, on the way back I averaged 15.8 or better on 2 tanks of gas (premium only) and for the most part 14.5 is the norm outside Calif.

 

17 in the city, 20 highway

I run a single in dual out dumped 40 series flowmaster with no Cat, and a K&N, and i get about 11-12 city and 13-14 Highway....Ohh yeah...i forgot about the 285/75/R16s...they actually help a little on the highway! OK i'm throgh
