Westins! Still chrome!

 

I recommend westin platinum series nerf bars.I put mine on about 19 months ago(myself) and they look great! Still not a spot of rust to be found on them, after two winters in the north east. They were easy to install. All you have to do is take out some frame bolts, put on the mounting hardware and re-install the bolts. Done in under an hour, and less than a 6-pack (of course you could stretch it into a 12-pack LOL) It only required basic tools.
My boss put black bars (westin) on his ford (no caps) ,they were not platinum series, and after three years they were rusting where the two rolled sides met and a little bit on top.I would recommend you spend the extra $ on the platimun series, it's worth it.
