Look out! This was not an attempt to start a nasty thread in any means. I just figured that information, is information. Regardless of the site that you obtain it from. Weather you choose to believe said info or not is totally up to you. I certainly enjoy it here, hospitality is great, and especially you "Dodgegirl19" I love the sights and sounds threads you start!! Absolutely wonderful. In addition this shows that you guys watch your site, right on top of everything!
Take note that I made sure that I mentioned "good" as a direct reflection to this forum. There are posts that go by without a reply, perhaps these individuals could gain information somewhere else?
Again this was nothing personal, but I did notice something quite ironic; a Moderator "dustyloins" mentioned; "The people are friendlier here and more helpful..... " and then you a "Director Of Operations" "Dodgegirl19" came back with a somewhat curt, perhaps even rude statement, and with almost a ultimatum. I fear that I stepped on toes, and for that you have a 100% Bulldog I'm sorry (I done screwed up)
I love it here, in addition I'm a current manufacture. I have yet to plug myself or partner business here out of 100% respect of this forum. Just curious what people are looking for, doing and current changes in the industry.
With that said, we are all striving to gain knowledge, nothing more. I'm here for the long run. "Dodgegirl19" I truly understand, I do think however that the comment was a bit rough, who knows maybe you were just having a bad day...LOL

I stand by what I said about the people here being more friendly and helpful. Sure we have our disagreements from time to time, but compare this to the constant flaming and bashing at the "other" SRT-4 forum, for example. You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier automotive forum....

As for Dodgegirl19's "curt" or "rude" statement, I've dealt with her for several months now and she is very easy to work with. On those rare occasions in which she has to put someone in their place, she is protecting her interests here and enforcing the rules that are clearly posted. She is VERY well thought of by most everyone here....[&:]

 

Are you talking about when I said don't link out competing forums or I'll erase this thread? I was merely pointing out that linking our two biggest competitors isn't allowed and this thread will be erased. It's understood not to. It's not all forums just DT and DTW... as I said before they don't link us, we don't link them.

I'm not at all having a bad day and I'm sorry you think bad of me because I pointed out a rule.

Hey Dusty I totally agree. As you can see from my previous post, I like this forum and the brass involved. I just thought there was a bit of irony...We all have bad days! No biggie..
Back on the subject..what are other informative boards that cater to the automotive realm do you guys patron?

Third post down... since that post I've made it so those two sites get this edit ******** if typed. Tempsho spaced it out so it still showed, and that's what I was warning him against doing again. It wasn't directed towards you at all.
