Default Brake Help Question...

Have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 with Anti-Lock Brakes.

My brakes are not locking up. No feedback from the anti-lock brake system when I have the peddle to the floor. I recently had the front rotors and pads replaced. I'm thinking I'll bleed the brakes in case there is some air pockets in the line. Besides, I've never bleeded before, so that would be good. Other recommendations?

I just bought a trailer and will be towing my jeep with it. What are the options for getting better braking power from truck? Any recommendation for a brand of a Master Cylinder to replace with? Not looking to spend a ton of $$$, just enough to get some peace of mind. Thanks...

Yes it does. The trailer has dual axles with brakes on both axles. Later...

ASounds like the anti-lock is working. If the pedal is going to the floor, there is a problem though.

Reply for BadStratRT : Yes. I have Brake controller already. I was throwing in the trailer info to indicate I would like the brakes on the truck working properly before I start towing with it.

My bad. The brakes are not all the way to the floor. I have pushed them all the way as far as I can go and the brakes don't lock up to the point where the anti-lock brake system kicks in. Usually when the system kicks in, there is a lot of feedback from the brake pedal. I get nothing. I could be going fast or slow and hit the brakes hard and not get no feedback from the anti-lock brake system.

Hope that makes sense. Thanks!!!
