Default 4.7 Exhaust

Well I have seen a whole lot of advice on exhaust for the Hemi, and it has been somewhat helpful but I have a 4.7 Ram 1500. Is there anybody that has good or bad system on the 4.7? I have had good luck with Flowmaster and Gibson but niether of these were on a Ram. Any advice would help. Thanks

Link doesnt work. When I bought the Ram a few months ago I asked at the parts counter if there were any exhaust kits available and he said no, so is it a new thing? Maybe I'll go check again tomorrow....

If your into upgrading for sound, then muffler is for you. For the money you are better off using the stock pipes since they are already mandrel bent. If you want that shiny, polished look though, you'd want to change the whole thing. I recall reading that the 4.7L would not gain performance from chnging the entire exhaust, headers, pipes, and muffler. From what I've seen on the rams, the piping is at least as good as what came on the Dakota. Good luck. If you mod the exhaust, get us a sound clip.[sm=goodidea.gif]
