Default Problem Diesel Shutdown

HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER? SHOULD EVERY YEAR. ALSO THE VACUUM PUMP CAN GIVE THIS SYMPTOM, IF HAS A LEAK. ARE YOU SHURE YOU DON'T HAVE A TRANS. PROBLEM. A BURNED TORQUE CONVERTER CAN CAUSE A SHUDDER. AND CAUSE THE ENG. TO STOP AT NEUTRAL, CAUSE IT'S LOCKED UP.
