When I hold the trip reset on my gague cluster and turn the key on, the gauges go in a test mode. After that it shows "C-Code" and then shows "81 00". What do those codes mean? BTW 04 QC

 

I know on my 04, you can get the hrs by doing something like this. If you hold the trip reset(engine off)first the trip meter appears, then the hrs. My 99 Wrangler did the gauge test doing it the way you said you did, I do not remember any codes though.
