Hey everyone,

I wanted to see if anyone out there has a problem with their doors buzzing like crazy while listening to the factory stereo. I just bought a 2004 Ram 1500 Quad Cab and the drivers side door is singing as loud as the music. Ive taken it it to the service department because I didnt think a $33,000 new truck would have this problem. They said........" Sorry, nothing we can do about this."and " I cant hear anything." Im still very frustrated about my whole Dodge experience at this moment. Any thoughts or comments out there?

well, i like my music loud, and you cant crank these radios with these
speakers too high. i gotta take my truck to get new speakers, and i got
an 04 as well, so obviously im not all that impressed with the stock
stereo and speakers with the rams either, but i figured stock was gonna
blow anyways, if you get better speakers installed, make sure they use
dynomat behind it, it soaks up most of the vibration. maybe you could
take it into a company that deals solely on audio, see what they say,
maybe you could slap some dynomat on the ones you already have, just a
suggeston, it may not help your problem, and it will cost money, it all
depends on how much this pisses you off.

Audiobeast.....As you can see from the bottom of this post, I too have an '04. Mine has the Infinity sound and I love it. I'm no audiophile, but I don't have any buzzing goin' on..... and I've been known to rock out once in awhile..... I think Kaostik is right. If thedealer won't fix it, then take it in for a diagnosis from a legit audio place andif theyfind the problem, then take it back to the dealer with the solution in hand..... JustMHO....Good luck with it.... Tim

I have the standard system but I never had any buzz. However, the stock speakers sucked even at moderate volume so I replaced them with aftermarkets...still no buzz.

Most of my panels make noise a one time or another I have found that pulling them off and putting them back on often fixes the issue, but the only thing thing that got rid of the noise all together was 8 layers of dynomat extreme in each door. Now I am working on the A and B pillers vibrating at 6000 RPM.
