I had the torsion bars cranked 1.5 inch in the front on my 2004 1500. It did the job to level it out. BUT the ride changed and it wasnt as smooth. I also think if I was keeping this truck...Id be replacing the shocks. It seems to top out when I go over a nice sized bump.
If I were you Id pay the few$$ and buy a proper leveling kit. For my 2007...I am buying a leveling kit. But I have no choice...I believe the 2500's dont have torsion bars ( someone correct me if Im wrong)
