Don't know what kind of driving you do, but I recently, (10,000 miles ago) put a set of Firestone Destination LE, 265-70-16 on my 98 Ram Quad. They are the best tires I've owned in a long time. Good in the rain, smooth and quiet. Paid a lot more for a set of Bridgestone Revos for my wifes Tahoe and they aren't near the tire these F'stones are. Just my two cents worth!

I have 285/75/R16s on my '94 ram 4x4, i would suggest the Firestone Dueller A/T Revos, but mine are just Dueller A/Ts. I have a pair of 32/11.50/15s that a friend of mine gave me with 1500 miles on them and i plan to get a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II 15s...hope i could help you make your decision!

I run 285/75r16 Cooper Discoverer A/T's on my '97 Ram 2500. Second set I've had on a truck, and the best all around road tires I've ever owned. Do great in the snow, are quiet on the pavement, and grip well offroad.

What kind of driving do you do? If you do drive offroad in loose stuff (Sand/Mud/Gravel)
Then go with the BFGoodrich MTKM, They are a good all around Tire and last a long time on road driving also. If you only drive onroad and offroad on gravel roads and hardpacked dirt then go with the BFGoodrich AT's they have better onroad manners and do very well offroad as well. If you only drive on the road with very minimal offroad then go with the firestones or something like that. I dont really do just onroad driving so I wouldnt know to much about those type of tires. But I have had really good luck with the BFG's on/offroad tires on multiple vehicles.

I have had excellent results from Kumho tires.
You can get them from TireRack in that size for $80 a pop!
They are a small company in the US, but make truely excellent tires.
Read the reviews... they are great tires.
Go with the Venture Road AT:

I have the Venture MT on my Jeep for wheelin'

They work as well as the BFG's and cost 50% less.

Truely awesome.
