Default A spin off of K&N + Plugs Post

My 30,000 miles has come, and I am about to send it in for the 30k tuneup .... i know if i leave it up to the pros they will most likely give me the stock plugs... but what "Should" I put in the 5.9 mag?

This is my first non-ford V8 ... and I would like to treat it a little better than I treated my fords.

So SparkPlug junkies Go at it... Sell me on the best 5.9 Mag Spark plug

Thanks Dano

Default RE: A spin off of K&N + Plugs Post

This is a duplicate post as in the K&N + plugs post... just trying hard to get more info on plugs... doin plenty of research to feed my baby... my '02 RAM

Alright ladies and gentlemen....

I went to Autolite and NGK's respective websites..... striking resemblance in the two ... anyways..
Autolite had three makes of Sparkplugs that matched up with my '02 5.9 mag... im not sure what you guys were looking for but what i found was
-Autolite- Double Platinum item # APP5224
Single Platinum item # AP5224

-NGK- Iridium - item # ZFR6IX-11
- Double Platinum- item # PZFR6F-11

These are the top two ranked sparkplugs for the 5.9 mag on an '02 ram according to the websites

so my question to you is this

Which company makes a better plug, NGK looks to be more exspensive, but that is not always a true testement of their quality....

Thanks again

Dano
