towing

just learned that Dodge trucks have a habit of fryin wire harness, headlight switch , and ignition switches when you tow a trailer.

your supposed to install relays with a dedicated HOT wire to the trailer harness.

anyone else have this or hear of this problem???

Sounds like your talking about the TIPM problem on the 2006.

actually its my 93 CTD. my father in law has a 2000+ ctd 1t and said that the electrical issues with the dodge are pretty common.
