i'm installing a security system in my 98 ram and cannot find how to easily access the lock/unlock wires. I've found some way up behind the cluster, but my wiring information says there should be wires in the 10 pin connector near the drivers' kick panel. Anyone know where this is?

I have a 04 ram 1500 and on mine its behind the rubber type insolation that is behind the drivers kickpanel. if you want to access your door wiring harness you can unplug it from the body wiring. simply leave the door open and detatch the rubber piece from the cab(it looks like an accordian). they will be 2 plugs there. message me if you need anymore discription or if this was even helpful. if not, im sorry.. just triing to help
