Default FRONT AXLE U-JOINT???

98 DODGE RAM, 4X4, V8- CLICKING NOISE WHEN TURNING, SHARP TURNS MAKE IT WORSE. TOLD IT'S A BAD FRONT AXLE U-JOINT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE??? DID NOT KNOW RAM'S HAD A U-JOINT IN THE FRONT AXLE, SO ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOME ON THIS ISSUE!!!!

It' not really a UV, I'd call it more of a CV, but in a 4X4 yes! You have front axels with "joints" on a 4X4 (call them what you will). When one goes bad, it can cause a vibration, expesially in turns and acceleration. It sounds like you had a good evaluation on the malfunction, only it "stimed" you because you didn't understand what you were told.
