temperature gauge?

I just picked up a 2007 CRD and the window sticker says it has a temperature gauge. Is that the outdoor thermometer? The manual refers to engine temperature in several areas but makes no mention of an actual enginetemperature gauge. If it makes a difference my steering wheel has no buttons.
