P2225 code

06 Sprinter. I replaced the circuit board in the transmission along with the updated harness connector. ( black o-ring one ). Checked the wiring harness to the tcm and to the shifter. All okay. Can the tcm be repaired or tested. Vehicle has 2nd and reverse. It shows on dash but will not shifter side click other gears there. Any help would be greatful. Tony
