Default Ambulances?!?!?!?

Any1 here use Sprinters as ambulances? The comp. I work for is ordering 1 we should get this fall? How do sprinters handle at high speeds? And how do they handle with large crosswinds?

Thx!

I haven't seen an ambulance in person, but I passed a "field communications unit" Sprinter on the highway over the weekend. It looked to be outfitted very similarly to how an ambulance would be.

There's tons of pictures of European Sprinter ambulances.

JAKAB;lethal, cheap conversion, loved by the NHS penny-pinchers,top heavy, and many have been rolled. Now have all been taken off the roaddue to safety issues, and sit on stations gathering dust.Jakab has now gone bust and the authorties are now stuck with these white elephants that they can't use.

macneille&son conversion, older white ambulance, nice storage area at the rear. All our ambulances must now be yellow due to some euro-**** directive.

older UV Modular design'first appeared ten years ago,now more services are going for the "box on the back" as they are de-mountable(can be re-furbed,re-used when the chassis cab gives up the ghost,+better more spacious working envioroment in the back
