ive searched on this subject and its still a little confusing to me.
my car will not go into 2nd or rev or just pops out as soon as i start letting off the clutch. it also feels as if all the gears were moved down like were neutral used to be is now were 1st, third , and 5th are its kindof weird. also feels like its going to pop out of 4th like its all the bottom gears.
im thinking its the clutch out of ajustment because before anything happend the tranny would grind into third, now if im not moving push in the clutch and try going to third it still grinds, and the tranny isnt supossed to be spining if im not moving right? hope im somehat clear on this sorry if im not. i check the linkage and its not hitting anything as well.[/align]

 

sounds wierd, if it's sliping the it should bebad clutch, and if it grinds then it should bebad synchros

 

same thing happened to me...its the clutch plates... cost about 500$ to fix

 

i found out its both the clutch and trany. the clutch, 2nd syncro and reverse syncro are all on there way out. im just happy i have a parts car and the only thing i need is a clutch for it.

 

for once i guessed correctley lol
