Default Going to Run a 1/4 mile

Tonight I might be running my stealth down ATCO's 1/4 mile. It'll be my first time I've ever ran down a strip before. My stealth is a base SOHC automatic. Any "veterans" out there have any tips for me?

hold down the brake as hard as you can when your at the line, floor it and when it gets to atleast the last yellow light let off the brake and just go.

I was curious about this though... Should I leave the stealth in POWER? should I have overdrive on?

Yes, have the tranny in "pwr" mode. It makes the shift points a little higher.
Leave the OD off.

I don't think it kills any...you just won't shift into OD on the big end of the track.

oh god I know OD on kills your torque, I also looked it up and it says it does. I can truly feel a difference with OD off.
