Performance increase?
I was just curious if anyone could tell me if I will be able to see any difference in the performance of my 1991dodge stealth R/T NA.
I plan on doing a little spring work and am getting NGK irridium plugs, NGK Plug wires, a new coil pack, a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer. My existing coil pack is rusting out so I need to replace it, Just wondering if I will really see any noticable difference.
Thanks alot for answering a pretty stupid question guys

you would defiently see a difference, when I did NGK Copper sparkplugs and a K&N FIPK I felt a difference and also had the time slips to prove to me. So with what your planning on doing you should see a difference. with a custom exhaust, NGK copper plugs and the FIPK I gained over a full second in a 1/4 mile.
What is supposed to be so great about NGK plugs and wires? IfI won't see a difference shouldI just getNAPA wires for30 bucks and autolite platinum plugs for like a buck a peice at wal-mart and save myself from paying 80 bucks for NGK wires and 40 bucks for there plugs?
Thanks for the replies guys.

NGK makes cheap plugs too, and in my opinion you will see a difference, goto a track before then after you do all your plugs and see if your timeslips get better.

You will never get a whole lot from something like that, but hell I feel a difference if I even turn my fan on/off, not much of a difference, but its still felt. Which is good cause either way it shows your making progress.
Plugs, wires and cold air intake are prepatory upgrades, meaning you won't see big gains if that is the only items upgraded on your engine. They help more when you are making major upgrades like larger intake/throttlebody and exhaust, NOS, increasing compression, turbo upgrade etc...
