RE: exhaust systems

any muffler shop should do a custom exhaust. but they may not take out the cat converters as they are illegal, so you may need to find some small privately owned garage to do it.

RE: exhaust systems

if you see a muffler shop with small sign and two guys without particular uniforms working on cars, most likely they will put in an empty cat converter for you
the cost will generally run into about $150-250.

lol that sucks, my custom exhaust was under 100 bucks, included pipes, muffler, tip, and install, with all cats and resonators removed.

Go and ask them if they can take the cat off, if they say yes, then ask them if they could just empty the one you have or put one that is gutted out(if you want yours to look legal)Then they could put a new muffler but you can just take the stock one off and put a 3" chrome tip wich i think would make it better.

i put mine for $70 but there was another shop of same type down the street that was asking $150

So these straight pipe systems, how much HP gain are you talking about? Is it a noticable difference?
