Are you losing coolant? Is your passenger floor board wet/damp? Do you ever smell antifreeze?

Well i was losing alot of coolant for a while, and i smelled anti-freeze and my car was overheating and that problem turned out to be my Water pump.. so i replaced that and the timing belt(timing belt cause no extra labor) and overheating problems have been fixed.. i dont smell antifreeze anymore and i just ran out side and checked the passenger floor board, its dry as can be, checked the coolant and its filled, im not losing any (exept possibly that liquid on my windshield) but why else would i be getting that liquid/fog? even when i dont use heater/Ac?

If you are not getting any of these 3 symptoms, the chances of a leaky heater core are slim to none. These cars do gas up the windows pretty bad, especially if they are cleaned on a regular basis.

The adhesives in the interior release fumes that cause the funky fog on the windows. Clean them once a month and you'll be fine.

...you didn't fail an inspection cause of dirty windows did you..?

Odd...what kind of products do you use to clean the interior? What kind of glass cleaner do you use?

When I used Armor All in my RT, the windows did seem like they were fogged up on a weekly basis. I started using a microfiber rag and water (on the interior and windows) and it takes longer for them to get that film. I think a combination of the chemicals in the upholstery, cleansers and a dirty condenser (AC) all contribute to the problem. My TT has a sunroof that I leave off when the weather is nice, I deleted the ac last summer and the windows take a long time to get the film on them.

Does your car get a musty odor when you run the ac?
