Default Exhaust QUestions

[align=left]I have just recently bought a '94 Stealth R/T AWD with only 59,000 miles, and I think its about time to start playing with it. I have read various posts and looked into some different exhaust systems and I think I want to build my own custom setup, as opposed to buying a complete system. I was thinking of a 3sx 2.5' downpipe, with a 3sx 2.5' test pipe in place of the cat, a 40 series flowmaster muffler and a 3' tip for a little added look. I figure it will add 8-10 HP, but its going to be a little expensive for the entire setup..Does anyone think this is the way to go, over a different setup? If something else is better, could I have some suggestions? Thanks!

Also, the moulding that is between the windshield and removeable roof is missing, Does anyone know where I might find one of these? Its about 1.5' wide and the width of the car, and no junkyards around me have any Stealths, so I think I might be SOL on this..Any help would be appreciated.

For the trim piece, you might try a Mitsu dealer. Check the salvage yards for Mitsubishi 3000gt's, they are the same car.

Most local exhaust shops don't do mandrel bending, you might yield better results buying a system made for hte car.

TT's and NA's will sound totally different with the same exhaust since turbos muffle the sound...
