Then your car is in "limp mode." It could either be the TCU, or something amiss with the transmission its self.
When you send you TCU off for rebuild, I'd recommend getting the ECU checked out at same time, as well as the ECS computer (if equipped). All three units have the same capacitors that start to leak with age.

Hi Daisy!! I was wondering when they put your car on the diagnostic machine to see what was wrong was it able to read what was wrong with the transmission!! Or did it say can't read(no data)?? Nobody seems to be able to get a reading on my transmission!! Thanks!!

shtoopie. ididnt have my car diagnosed. the people in the forum helped with this. so be thankful that they can help. and if your car is in limp mode dont drive it anymore or your front seals might break.
