Engine cutting out... Please Help !!!
hold everything, before you go spend 300.00 plus dollars for something you might or might not need let me tell you that i had a similar problem, the car would warm up then it would turn off just like you described and all it was is the control modual it's mounted to the manifold next to the dist cap, its worth na shot. Sincerly G.

it checks out fine. it hasn't cut out in awhile now since the
weather cooled down. now thats a head scratcher !!!

Who checked out the ECU? Sometimes the damage is so slight, you cannot see it with the naked eye.
Does your car have ECS? Does your tour/sport light blink?

i checked it using a analog voltage tester on the ODB1 plug. now my car won't run for more than ten seconds it clicks and volt meter jumps up and down...

When my ECU went bad in my RT, it didn't throw any codes.
When the ECU went bad in my TT, I was getting an error code for the 3/6 coil...just so happens those coils not firing were my problem. The ECU was not telling the coils to fire.
