yea, the check engine light does it ever come on? I was just thinking and white smoke is water and blue is oil and fuel should be black smoke. are you sure it's not blue? i thought i was seeing white smoke on my stealth but it ended up being blue and i fixed it by replacing the valve seals.

Before you start shotgunning parts in hopes of fixing your problem, you might want to start with what is obvious.
http://www.stealth316.com/2-diagconn.htm <----procedure for pulling codes from the ECU.

i had never found an analog voltmeter when i pulled my codes, digital one will work too but it's harder to understand the code it's telling.
Valve seals are not expensive, about $40-$60 fo a set, it's labor intensive tho, and you have twise more of them than i do. Mine is base v6 with 160hp which feels like 100hp and runs about 7.5s-8.0s 0-60

You can pick up a cheap analog voltmeter at home depot for about $10.
