Default Sputtering Problem

Ok i seem to have a sputtering problem with my es anytime i give it prlly half throttle or more. it seems to be a lot worse wen going from a stop as well. it does a little jerking kinda hesitating sputtering.
i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on what the problem could be??
i was thinking possibley the injectors need cleaned out?? or head gasket?? maybe even the plugs n wires??
any info would be great

checking spark plugs would be a good start. also check if any codes show up
