Default odd sounds =)

sigh, so when im driving down the street i get this weird sound.. seems like it comes from my tires? but its not my tires... ( they r brand new and i dont think so) but it shakes my car and the interior shakes.. vvvm vvvm vvvm vvvm vvvm vvvm vvvm vvvm someone said something about a sway bar or something? anyway , hook me up with some tips

Can you tell if it's the front or back end? If your tires are brand new they're probably balanced correctly but it's good to double check. New ones usually come with lifetime balancing. Otherwise you may need to get an alignment. Vibrating could be caused by wheels being out of alignment.

its the front for sure, and i barly went in and got them balanced and rotated ( had problem b4 i went in, same problem when i came out) and my aligtment is pretty straight.

hmm yes it does, when im on the free way u cant notice it as much tho because its going so fast i guess, but lower speeds its starting to get pretty bad, u think wheel bearing? how would i check?

Jack up the car, put it in neutral and spin the wheel(s). You should be able to hear the wore bearing. Your car is FWD right?

You didn't tweak a dust shield on the brakes when you were changing tires?

yea car is FWD, and it was my first time changing breaks, so i have no idea if i did or not i dont even know what a dust shield is

I overlooked the part of your post where you said it is shaking really bad...I need to quit skimming posts I guess. Does it shake more when you brake? Everything was fine until you changed the brakes, and tires? How did you tighten your lug nuts?

ok well i got new tires then i changed my breaks everything was fine, it seems like the problem has recently developed, not as soon as i changed the tires and breaks, but BIG 0 used the torque on my lug nuts :*(
