Default overheating problem

Hi, I am new here and looking for some help. Im in Folsom, CA. We got us a nice auto program at the prison here but the help is a little sketchy and I only get an hour a day out of the hole. Seriously though, the auxillary fans in my 92 Stealth ES don't come onwhen the engine heats up. I changed the thermo and the coolant temp sensor to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Neither fan kicks on? The one on the driver's side only comes on when the AC is on. Have you hooked the fans up to a power supply to see if they work? Trace the lines back to the relay, make sure it's not bad.

Thanks for the reply! Both fans work as they will come on when the a/c is turned on.

...but if the AC isn't on, neither fan will ever turn on? They only kick on at a predetermined temperature. Does the car start to overheat after its been running for awhile?

Yeah, a/c off, no fan comes on. The car wont overheat on the freeway, but itdoes in stop and go traffic.
