timing belt replaced right before i got car (92 rt dohc). car running rough. mech says timing belt loose. what kind of tensioner is there manual or auto? where is it? anyone have instructions for this procedure with a pic or two?

 

It is under the timing belt cover a little bit tough to get to. I think it is about 150 bucks at mitsubishi and it is called the hydraulic tensioner. If it runs rough than probably the belt jumped a couple of teeth.
