Default help plz!

when i change my spark plugs do i have to take off the intake manifold to get tho them or is there a special way to do it? i have a 93 stealth es, dohc. help will be very much appreciated, and if i have to take it off do i have to but a new gasket?

On DOHC motor you have to take the intake off to change the spark plugs. You don't have to replace the gasket unless it brakes on you.

ok thanks, and if my car wont start when its hot well normal running temp, wouldnt that be an overheated coil pack, it try to turn over cut i dint think its getting any spark, so im thinking ita a bad coil pack or distrisutor or something along those lines, my check engin light come on also but only when it is at normal running temp, it dont come on when its kool or warming up at all. some hepl would be appreciated.

have you checked what the engine light is on for?

You might be either not getting fuel or spark. Will it stay running when it reaches operating temp?

Get the codes scanned , that might give you a key to the trouble ...

ok well i changed my plugs an thts not the problem. i checked the coils an there gettin spark to the wire. but my check engine light is still on an it runs fine when at normal operating temp but it still wont start when its hot. an when im drivin down the road at a decent speed ill turn it off an pop the clutch an it starts up but runs like crap in lower rpms an idels at close to 2grand. when i give it gas after i pop the clutch it the rpms drop down to 500-1000 and starts to jerk a little bit then it will go. if any one can help it will b very much appreciated THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

o forget somethin lol...none of the local places will scan it because it is under a 96 which i think is gay an i tried the ignithion trick an i cant get it to work. an the wire for my car to scan it is 200 DOLLARS lol thts alot for just a wire lol. i appreciate the help.

check the computer for blown caps, should be located behind the radio if i remember right. Also try the voltmeter trick to check the codes.

ok thanks. can i change the caps if there blown? an how do u do the voltmeter trick to check codes?
