Help Wanted South Chicago
Hey guys. Anyone in the south chicago/south burbs who can make a trip out to Tinley Park to help me get my 92 ES running again? After a couple of months of sitting it'll crank but won't turn over. I know a bit about cars and have been working on them for a couple years now but I am no mechanic and probably shouldn't diagnose by myself (just cost more money and time) So again if there is anyone out there who can help I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
John

it tries to turn but it's not getting fuel. is there a fuse i could check or am i stuck paying an insane amount of money just to have someone diagnose it? (and eventually fix it)
It may be the ECU causing the issue...I know several members of 3SI who had a hard time getting the car to start (only started after pressing the throttle pedal while turning it over), which turned out to be caused by the crappy capacitors these cars came with from the factory. As long as your board doesn't have damaged traces, you should be able to change the capacitors and be good to go.
My '91 R/T TT takes a while to start when it's cold out and I'm almost 100% sure it's ECU/ECS-related. I'm planning on sending both the ECU and ECS computers to ECM-To-Go for rebuilds this upcoming summer. Here is their website with information about Mitsubishi ECU's:
