Default I'm just found this site and thank you

I own a 1992 dodge stealth hardly driven. 38,000 miles and I'm the original owner. I start having problem on it. Took it to a shop they can't figure out the problem. The problem only occurs intermitently. I will start it then it will die with the idle low and heard a clicking noise. after a few hours it will start fine then sometimes the whole day. I drove it for 30 miles when I moved and no problem then suddenly it started again. I search in this forum and found out that some people having the same issue and I need to replace my fuel relay. Now when I start the car Smell a strong odor even after driving in for a while. This just been happening lately.

Your cars probably sat idle for long periods of time ... I'd start by checking for Corrosion on electrical plugs ect , clean and check battery cables and terminals , Also be very suspicious of any rubber hoses/tubing is likely dry/brittle or cracked

I just found out what is really wrong with my Stealth. I found out that the ECU capacitor leaks and need to be replace. This is normal in 1991 to 93 ecu. Mitsu built it with a rubycon capacitor that leaks. I found other forums that discuss this problem. Most people think it was the relay but the Ecu is caussing the problem. That should take cares most of my problem. I did open my Ecu and leak from the capacitor and just started too. I got lucky. Easy fix for me.
