Stealth A/C light flashes. Help!

Have a 91 Stealth. The A/C light flashes occasionally and the cooling quits. Its an intermittent problem as it will work for a while, then quit. Anyone got any ideas?

i would say something is up with the ac compressor, you can probably take it off and take it somewhere to check it
