Many cars/trucks nowdays are made from a variety of companies and in different countries. It's part of the "Global Economy" that was forced upon us and now reflects in our super high unemployment rate. My SRT-4 had many parts made in Canada (No problem there), but the engine was made in Mexico.

Kinda tells ya the education level of the folks crossing the border into the US......Nada!!!

 

Sure Dusty, but this situation is a little different. It was nearly 20 years ago they started making Stealth's and 3000gt's. Dodge hired Mitsu to build them a car. They (Dodge) didn't design the car and have bits and pieces made here and there. They both rolled off of the same assembly line. I don't go to a Dodge Dealer for parts, nor would I ever think to have it serviced by a Dodge Mechanic. While "technically" it's a Dodge...it's not.
