So recently my Stealth, 93 ES Automatic, has decided to take a turn for the worse. I have to give the car gas to start it, and it will usually idle for a bit on its own. Once I try and drive the vehicle, it will die unless I keep giving it gas constantly. At stop lights and such I have to put the car in neutral and rev it in order to keep it running. I am not real sure what the problem here is...fuel pump, fuel filter?? Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

 

I assume this is a DOHC motor?
Could be several different things. I would do a tune-up, pull the ecu and have it checked as they have alot of problems, check the VICS motor on the side of the upper intake plenum, check engine timing. We check ecu's if you would like it done, let me know or give me a call,
