Default wheels and tires

ok im pretty lost just looking for some clarification... i own a 94 stealth R/T, im lookin at a set of wheels and tires, 18"x8" with a 40 series tire... ive been told my stock suspension shouldnt cause a problem but others have said i need to put aftermarket stuff on, i just need some guidence of what i REALLY need to do? will my stock stuff be fine or if i do need to go aftermarket please give me a list of everything i would also need to upgrade to such as coilover with or without camber arms or anything else...

Thank you,
If you need send me a PM or email me at christopherkalous@yahoo.com

You don't want to go thinner than an 8.5" wheel. That's what these cars came with, stock. You don't want a narrower-than-stock wheel.

You can run 18's easily on stock suspension, as 18's came on these cars factory in 95+ Turbo models. You can run 19's and 20's on stock suspension too if you really wanted.
