car wont start help!

car wont start help!
My car was running fine, i stopped to get gas and when i went to start it, it wouldnt. the stereo and heater would come on the shut off shortly after. we jumped it and it started fine. i drove home 20 miles in the dark with nothing else happening. when i stopped to get gas all the lights were off etc...im car clueless, help
