im going to move this into the stealth section, but I believe that a supercharger which will fit my stratus with a 6g72 should also fit your NA stealth, with some modifications.

as for price...a supercharged stratus RT with a manual tranny runs 15.7-15.9 stock. i met a guy last year who was blown, running high 13s. he had just shy of ten grand tied up in the supercharger setup, the electronics, an the headerback exhaust. i know that the headers alone cost 1500, plus the rest of the system, so figure he spent about 8 grand on the supercharger system and the other mods to make it run correctly with that blower.

With enough money, you can supercharge anything. With the Stealth's, you basically have two options for bolt on kits, one being the RippMods SDS, the other being a Thomas Knight kit. I have heard nothing but horror stories regarding the T.K kit. I have heard good things about the RippMods set up. It would cost anywhere from 5 to 10K depending upon how much you have to pay for labor.

on the other hand, i was trying to buy some stuff from Ripp last month...something like 6 emails and 4 phone calls, and they never got back to me. if youre going with RippMods, good luck. also, i have begun to hear of problems with Ripp's stuff...for instance, alot of guys are having problems with the welds breaking on the Ripp headers...headers that cost 1500 bucks! I have holley headers on the mirada and they cost like 200 bucks...and i havent had any problems with them, but Ripp is charging 1500 and theyre falling apart...

the problem is that Ripp has the market cornered, and because of that, they sell crappy products.

Good info. I haven't heard many bad things about them, but firsthand experience is always good.

You don't have to buy Ripp's headers, as 3sx has developed a set of long tube headers for the DOHC 6g72.
(Headers are a requirement when supercharging these engines. The stock manifolds won't flow enough air)

If I'm not mistaken, the RIPP SDS is a vortech supercharger. Where did you see this 12.7 sec. supercharged Stealth at?? Online, or in person?

i wonder if those 3sx headers will work with my car...those look Really nice, even compared to Ripps 1500 dollar headers...

here is a picture of the Ripp setup, stage 1, ecu, and headers, and he was running high 13s...that does kind of look like a Vortech badge on the shaft side of the blower.

I don't think the manifold (exh) bolt pattern is the same. Is your car DOHC or SOHC?? I know that SOHC headers will not fit a DOHC. On Stealths anyway.
