my son has a 92 stealth, 3.0 non turbo, 5speed trans that is having power problems. we just put a new fuelpump, filter, and the rubber high pressure line from the tank fitting to the steel line. had injectors cleaned, new wires, and new coil. it will run great at idle and for about a mile down the road, then it goes to nothing. missing, cutting out, and wont take fuel at all. will not even pull itself in first gear. can let it set and have to try two or three times before it will start, but then idles fine till you drive it, then same thing. i am stumped!. is not throwing any codes, and no cel light on. it acts like it is running out of fuel, so i am leaning toward pressure regulator, but hate to keep throwing money that son does not have at this car. anyone have any ideas?

 

most likely the ECU/engine computer.
