just a thought on my gutless stealth. we have an identical parts car, talking identical. same motor, same trans, same equipment, and everything only a bad trans. question is how hard is it to swap out engine computer and exactly where is it. i can see one behind glovebox, but another one behind center console. if car is identical, what are chances it is programmed the same?

 

What year/model is your car, and what year/model is the parts car?

 

The parts car is a 92, and the fixer is a 91. Both are same model(basic stealth), and both have the exact same equipment. will the computers interchange?

 

91 and 92's are interchangeable. identical engine computers.
