ES to RT conversion?
Not too afraid of the working on it, but does all that stuff usually break? Granted, the vehicle is getting up in years, but assuming it was taken care of, are there usually problems with the awd, aws, tt?

I have heard reports that the tranny and transfer case are a little weak (for hauling around near 2 tons) but I think they normally only fail with repeated hard launches...
my friend also has a stealth and next summer he is wanting to swap it over to a dohc from the base sohc and i am going to be helping him with it and need to get the information as to know if the wireing harness on the original motor will work on the newer motor and also the clutch and flywheel etc
Hey I am one of the local psycho's that drive a ES and it will make 125+ 230.000 miles showing with no problems ,dressed right they look very sharp looking. See the post "where are the ES's" The AWD Twin Turbo cars are way cool big bucks to fix to and they have a hard time getting into a good class in SCCA or NASA time trials. The ES Non Turbo is cool and middle of the road for replacement parts fast as hell and can run in TT/E under NASA racing rules stock. Good rims Momo or Einkie or you name it good rims make a car look so much better as well as new rubber. Detail the car out clean and polish and people will look at it in a whole new light.
